R.A.T.S. Field Safety Rules

All participants must read, understand, and agree to follow these safety rules and must sign a Waiver of Liability before participating in any activities at the R.A.T.S. facility. No exceptions.

Any violation of these safety rules may result in immediate ejection from the facility.

R.A.T.S. accommodates both adults and minors. Please refrain from cursing or using crude language at the facility.

Protective Equipment

• Eye protection must be ANSI Z87.1 rated and full seal.
  Lower face protection is required and must not be removed when active in a scenario or training.

Weapon and Gameplay Rules

• All guns must have a barrel cover when in staging area or in the parking lot, which is any area other than the active training areas.
• Firing of guns in the parking lot (dry fire or live fire) is not permitted ay any time.
• All guns must be chronoed every visit.
• Any tampering with or altering a gun after chrono will result in an immediate ban.
•  “Blind man” may only be called in the event of a real world physical injury or loss of eye protection. If you hear it, repeat it. All players must immediately stop shooting.
• No shouting or aggressive behavior.
• Not calling your hit will not be tolerated.
• No magazines in weapons while in the staging area.
• No climbing, moving, or altering obstacles.
• No blind firing.
• No shooting through small gaps, head sized or smaller.
• No shooting under cars.
• No overkill or overshooting.
• Do not touch or kick other players’ grenades.
• Grenades inside line of sight are live. If you see it, you are eliminated.
• Grenades used outdoors have a 20 foot kill radius.
• Smoke is allowed in the courtyard only.
• Melee weapons must be rubber or foam only.
• If shot inside 5 feet, you may melee one player before being eliminated within that 5 foot radius.
• Eliminated players may not talk or provide intel while respawning or walking off the field.
• Indoor areas are semi auto only.
• Do not touch other players’ equipment.

Facility Rules

• All gear must be stored in a locked gun case or bag. Items left out are entirely at your own risk.
  No littering anywhere on site.
  No food or drink in training areas.
  Smoking and vaping are allowed only in designated areas. No smoking or vaping in the training area.

IMPORTANT!  If you do not understand any rule, ask a referee before entering the training area. Any person in breach of these rules will be removed from the site without warning.
